Nashua man sentenced to 8 years in prison for methamphetamine trafficking

A man from Nashua, was sentenced to eight years in federal prison for trafficking methamphetamine after selling 81 grams of crystal methamphetamine.

A Nashua man has been sentenced to 8 years in federal prison for trafficking methamphetamine in New Hampshire.

Philip Wetmore, 32, was sentenced on Monday after pleading guilty in February to two counts of distributing methamphetamine and one count of possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

The FBI arrested Wetmore in February 2022 after he sold approximately 81 grams of crystal methamphetamine to an individual in Nashua.

At the time of his arrest, Wetmore had a loaded firearm on him.

The FBI seized approximately 671 grams of crystal methamphetamine, a second loaded firearm, and other items associated with drug trafficking from Wetmore’s car.

Wetmore is legally prohibited from possessing firearms.
